A young boy enters the forest in search of the stories he has heard of Robin Hood and his Merry Band. In search of heroes and villains. In search of adventure. But once there, he finds that Robin is not just a myth but also a man.  This world premiere play-with-music takes a fresh look at the modern Robin Hood myth and gathers inspiration from 15th and 16th century English and Scottish ballads, the first tales written of the legendary figure. The Boy and Robin Hood examines how quickly violence can escalate and the discoveries we make when our heroes become real."
