A young boy enters the forest in search of Robin Hood and his Merry Band. In search of mythical heroes. In search of adventure. But, once there, he discovers that Robin is more than just a myth. He is also a man.
This world premiere play-with-music deconstructs the Robin Hood myth and gathers inspiration from 15th and 16th century English and Scottish ballads, the first tales written of the legendary figure. The Boy and Robin Hood examines how quickly violence can escalate and what is revealed when our heroes become real.
